The Alban Arts Center is proud to present William Shakespeare’s historical tragedy Richard the Third. While thirty years of war have raged during the War of the Roses, the people of England look forward to a period of peace under King Edward IV, but the king’s younger brother, Richard, has other ideas. You will love to hate the charming, nefarious Richard, played by Jeff Bukovinsky, as he schemes his way to the throne of England. After succeeding to the throne, having eliminated all brothers, nephews and anyone foolish enough to get in his way, Richard is threatened by Henry Tudor, who arrives to challenge Richard for the crown, and ultimately end the War of the Roses. With the talents of Jessica Smith, Adam Bryan, Melanie Larch, John Johnson, William Rouse, Olivia Morris, Josh, Fix, Chris Terpening, Mandy Petry, John Halstead, Norman Clerc, Nikki Williams, Ethan Lyvers, Kelly West, Aaron Shepard, Brooke Hirst, Jadon Batista, Kyle Casto, Lauren Casto and Asa Lyvers. Dates: February 22, 23, 24 and March 1, 2, 3. Tickets $15 for adults and $10 for students/seniors. Call 304-721-8896 for reservations
