SUMMARY:The General
DESCRIPTION:The General is a 1926 American silent comedy film released by United Artists. It was inspired by the Great Locomotive Chase\, a true story of an event that occurred during the American Civil War. The story was adapted from the 1889 memoir The Great Locomotive Chase by William Pittenger. The film stars Buster Keaton\, who also co-directed it along with Clyde Bruckman.  Over time\, The General has come to be regarded by critics and filmmakers as one of the greatest films ever made. In 1989\, the film was selected by the Library of Congress to be included in the first class of films for preservation in the United States National Film Registry for being “culturally\, historically\, or aesthetically significant.”

SUMMARY:The Rocky Horror Show
DESCRIPTION:In this cult classic\, sweethearts Brad and Janet\, stuck with a flat tire during a storm\, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence is lost\, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters\, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Elaborate dance numbers and rock songs reveal Frank-N-Furter’s latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.” \nThat “Sweet Transvestite” and the castle’s motley crew have done the “Time Warp” on Broadway in three unique productions: the original in 1975\, a 25th-anniversary revival in 2001\, and a 50th-anniversary revival in 2026. Complete with sass from the audience\, cascading toilet paper and an array of other audience participation props\, this deliberately kitschy rock ’n’ roll\, sci-fi gothic musical is more fun than ever!
