The Rocky Horror Show

Audition Form for The Rocky Horror Show

Rocky Horror Show Audition Dates: August 15th and 16th 18+ ONLY: Minors will not be cast. Time: 1-4pm Location: Alban Arts Academy - 2121 Kanawha Terrace What to Prepare: A 60-second cut of a song in the style of Rocky Horror Show (a number from a rock musical or a rock & roll song will work). Acapella is fine or a Bluetooth connection will be provided if needed. Actors will be asked to cold-read scenes from the script and to perform improv exercises. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes for possible movement/dance audition. About the Show: In Rocky Horror Show, sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of flamboyant mad scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. Elaborate dance numbers and rock songs reveal Frank-N-Furter’s latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.”
